The history of the American DOPP-KIT toiletries kit

The Dopp kit was made in the 1920s by Charles Dopplet, a Chicago-based manufacturer of leather accessories. He designed the kit to allow men to store their toiletries.

These affectionately called Dopp (for Dopplet) kit were first sold locally until Doppelt signed a contract with the US Army to supply its toilet kits to many thousands of American soldiers.

These toilet kits were a huge success and sales skyrocketed when the American GIs returned home after the war.

It had some great advantages!

The K2 has all the same qualities as the original Dopp kit - original volume, robustness and ingenuity.

We can really say that it is a dopp-kit for adventurers
