When going on an adventure, there's nothing more frustrating than running out of space in your bag. It's large, bulky, and takes up space.
To make your life easier, we've designed the perfect accessory for you! Introducing the ROOK, a compact travel game. It rolls up so you can slide it anywhere and easily transport it, like in a UNIMAK backpack, for example. There's even a zippered pocket to store all your game pieces. No risk of losing them.

It's your turn to play

During your evenings with friends or family, it's always nice to have a game of board games. With the ROOK, you have options.
For experienced players, challenge each other to a game of chess. Alternatively, you can also play checkers. The board has been designed to allow you to play both!
We even have customized rules for you to play like a pro ;)

As solid as a ROOK

This travel game is made of waxed canvas, a material coated with wax. This makes it more durable and water-resistant. You can place the ROOK on the grass or on a rock by the water without any problem.
The corners have even been reinforced with stitching. This prevents it from getting damaged after just a few uses.
You'll keep this game for a long time. You'll be the chess pro!

Originality in simplicity

Because chess doesn't have to be boring, we wanted to add a touch of originality. All the pieces are made of wood, which gives them an authentic and natural look that we love.
For a vintage touch, we added small details in genuine leather. You'll find them on the strap, around the board, and on the Alaskan MAKER leather patch.
